Microsoft to buy Google?
It has been reported that google just turned down an offer from Microsoft. Obviously Microsoft has a strong intention to 'merge' with google, but google does not like the idea.
Meanwhile, Microsoft is also developing its own search engine, which they hope could beat google at some point. Looks like another story of Netscape and IE is going to happen? Well, no. Google is an online advertisement business. It has a business model, and a huge number of users. Unless Microsoft comes up with a better search engine, Google will not be renamed to "Microsoft Google" in the near future.
